Mentoring is an excellent way to help businesses. I have used mentors, formally and informally. It’s very useful to bounce ideas and get answers from people, not as emotionally invested in your business because they can give objective answers.
Mentoring is also a way to pass knowledge down the line to other up and coming businesspeople.
So, I took a look at how AI can help with the mentoring process. You may think it’s a daunting process. How does one “upload” 40 years of experience to an AI agent? My answer is the same as “how do you eat an elephant?” – one teaspoon at a time!
I spent sometime creating a simple to use but powerful AI Mentoring Agent/chatbot. I gave it very little information about myself. I tested it by asking questions and then spent another 20 minutes adding to it. It is by no means complete, but is already giving reasonable answers. With every new question, I can add to the knowledgebase and when I have many mentees I will be able to improve my answers so the AI agent is quite competent.
No, it is not as good as face to face or on-line meetings!
Yes, it does allow me to offer my mentoring skills to thousands, rather than just one or two people at a time.
Yes, it does allow continuous improvements. It very easy for me to add more information to my knowledgebase – one “teaspoon” at a time.
If you want to see it in action (and its current very limited knowledgebase), please visit https://et-ai.co.za/ Choose “Let mentor you” and get started immediately.
Feel free to ask it business questions and see it if can be useful in your context.
