AI, or artificial Intelligence is computer software that somewhat mimics human behaviour. It’s software that makes you go “That’s clever”. An example is Google Maps. It knows where you are and can direct you to your destination. It even knows the traffic on your route. Now that’s clever!
Of course AI has advanced quiet a bit since then. AI nowadays is perceived as software that can “talk” to you. you can ask a question and it searches it gigantic knowledgebase for similar questions and answers. It’s replies are usually perfectly grammatically correct and its answers depend on the knowledge it has been supplied so often the answers are also perfectly correct. Now that’s also clever.
