Our research shows that less than 15% of staff in a company use AI on a regular basis. This refers to people in management and in admin who could, actually SHOULD, be using AI to help do their job more effectively and more efficiently.
I’m referring to the basic uses of AI: asking ChatGPT or Gemini, or Meta or Grok for assistance in writing up a report, getting an answer, generating an image.
Our research shows that of those 15% of employees using the basics of AI are about 10%-20% more productive than they used to be and improving the whole time. As they become more comfortable with AI – generating reports, designing strategies, writing up minutes of meetings, sending emails, designing spreadsheets, formatting documents they use it more and more.
What about the remaining 85%? They don’t yet know or appreciate the power of AI. Maybe they’re a bit apprehensive (a lot apprehensive).
Our solution:
Guide them. Give them a bit of training. Our training courses aim to take people from being a total novice to becoming comfortable with AI inside 4 hours!
We start by explaining a small part of AI – the part that is useful to business. We help people get set up with some of the AI bots – they will have seen Gemini on Google, or Meta on Whatsapp, but never used it.
We then start using these AI systems with examples relevant to your business.
For example:
“Summarise this email” and “Draft a response”
“Give me a safety policy”
“Help me with this Excel formula…”
“How do I bold an item in WORD.
“Help with the minutes of our meeting”
We find that within an hour the delegates – your staff are sending many prompts to the AI systems and getting more and more excited with the answers. By the end of the session all delegates are comfortable with using AI to help them do better in their jobs.
Discussion time is allocated for questions and brainstorming. This is when delegates start appreciating the true power of AI and lose their fear!
We do follow ups after the training to keep encouraging your staff to find additional uses and benefits to them of AI chatbots.
