So what is AI? What can it do for your business?

Simply put AI is a general set of good software that will make you, your staff, your systems, your processes and your methodologies more efficient and more effective.
It’s not one piece of software, it’s a new way of designing software.
It’s “clever” concepts.
It helps automate tasks:
It automates and improves from simple to very complex:
•       a simple scheduled post like this one to managing your entire work flow and production.
•       It can help you automate your email – reply to messages.
•       It can do more than remember appointments like your calendar. It can schedule them, even send a message to confirm the appointment and then remind you of that appointment.
•       It can send automated messages to your customers reminding them their car is due for a service.
•       It can automatically answer other questions from staff and customers.
•       It can help you with your reports.
•       It can spell-check and grammar check – yes, that’s also an AI task!

So, where do you start?
1) Start using one of the AI chatbots: eg ChatGPT, Meta AI, Gemini, Grok etc. I’m going to use ChatGPT for this article, but you can use any of the AI chatbots. They’re free! We offer a 2 hours on-line training session to get you and your staff up and running.
2) You probably have already tried it and said “That’s impressive, but what do I need it for?” This is the hard part. Every task you have, every thought you have, start considering if ChatGPT etc could help you.
•       You have a brain freeze on how to answer an email: ask ChatGPT.
•       You’re not sure how to phrase a sentence in a report or email. Ask ChatGPT
•       You want to bounce and idea off someone, but no one is in the office: Ask ChatGPT
•       You don’t know something and need to research it: Ask ChatGPT
•       You’re not sure how to install your new printer cartridge: Ask ChatGPT
•       You want to send out a Christmas message to your customers and staff: Ask ChatGPT
3) Now is the time to take it further: Get your staff up and running on the same thing. Any new technology or methodology needs training, motivation and sensitivity. Encourage them to use it to write-up policies and procedures, user manual, trouble shooting, formal letters, emails. They can become 50% more efficient! That will save you 50% of their salary!
4) Start looking at issues in your business that gives you a headache: Talk to experts like us to see if a new way of doing an old process can take your headache away.
– it could be customer care and support
– it could be product knowledge
– it could be marketing or finance or HR
5) Once you are doing this, it is time to look at the bigger issues in your business and see how AI – a new way of doing things – can help your business.
