There’s a retailer I buy from occasionally. Yesterday I saw their Facebook advert saying send a WhatsApp to <xxxxx> for daily specials. The reason I saw the advert was because I was considering buying something and remembered they also supply it, so had visited their Facebook page.
I sent the WhatsApp yesterday at 8:56am.
I received a response today at 7:59am, by which time I no longer needed the product.
They lost about R300 which is no big deal, unless it is 1000 customers……
Needless to say my WhatsApp system replies in 12 seconds and would cost them about R2000 for the whole month. It also would have saved the poor manager having to send a manual message.
