Grok

Anyone on X (previously Twitter) will know that @Grok is the AI version of X. In the past week people are using it more and more because it is embedded inside X. You can ask it to explain or fact check a post. you can ask it any question just like ChatGPT.
What is very interesting is how people are using it so much. It is probably the most used AI system in the world. It certainly has the most downloads.

What people still need to realize is it is AI, not I (artificial intelligence, not intelligent) . It gives answers based on it’s training – mainly websites. If it’s knowledgebase is wrong, then so is it. Many people on X are trying to use it for confirmation bias – to say “Grok agrees with me, I must be right.”

My viewpoint about AI, definitely for business purposes, is not to get an opinion from AI, but information. Let it use its LLM (large language model which helps it “understand” English) to give better answers than a pure search engine like Google. Let it improve your own reports, images, emails.
Let it give better answers to questions that it has been trained on.

It’s quite useless to ask Grok for an opinion, for example “What do you think of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Israel, Iran, Afganistan. Cyril Ramaphosa. etc”. Yes, it’s fun to do so sometimes, but it serves no good business purpose.

**** Now watch someone say “Grok what do you think of Keith’s post?” ****
